The Nationally-Accredited Cancer Center at Saint Barnabas encompasses 8 physician practices and 23 room & 6-short stay beds Infusion Center. The Center has over 20,000 patient visits, 1,200 new patient visits and 1,800 infusion visits per year. We are seeking an Administrative Director to lead our Center.
The Operations Director of the Cancer Center will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Cancer Center. This will be accomplished by working collaboratively with the Director of Oncology Service Line, Medical Director of the Cancer Center and Medical Oncologists to design and implement clinical and administrative processes that support the overall operations of the Cancer Center. In addition, the Operations Director will ensure that all services offered in the Cancer Center are based on the most current issues, trends, clinical practice and management techniques by monitoring the field of Oncology. The Operations Director will supervise the Assistant Director of Clinical Services and Assistant Director of Administrative Services and ensure their performance supports the operation of the Cancer Center by maintaining each cost center budget and evaluating compliance with the respective Manager. Lastly, the Operations Director will be responsible for maintain all certifications including but not limited to ACOS, NAPBC, MIPS, NQF and meaningful use attestation.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field; Master degree preferred.
Minimum of five years' experience of clinical; and 3-5 years of oncology related experience is recommended.
Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of patient satisfaction and physician & employee engagement.
Successful experience and implementation of EBL methodologies such as Studer.
Proven track record of motivational leadership spanning a broad range of health care professionals.
Demonstrated ability to formulate and present findings & recommendations based upon a thorough investigation & analysis of complex data.
Proven ability to handle multiple, often-conflicting priorities.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel & Word).
