Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Management or related field required.PHR/SPHR preferred.
5-8 years applicable experience with Lawson or similar HRIS platform required. Experience with Absence Management, Self Service Modules and payroll timekeeping interfaces (Kronos) preferred.
Experience in an instructional role desired.
Excellent organizational/communication (written and verbal) skills.

Reporting directly to the Corporate Director Compensation Benefits and HRIS at MHC, this position focuses on the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and is a significant, individual contributor to the Human Resources team.
This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for front/back-end HRIS users and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity and confidentiality, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Sr. HRIS Analyst supports HRIS upgrades and often leads the process of researching and applying patches and testing and is responsible for documentation and maintenance of and training for all HRIS-related work instructions.Works creatively, independently and with minimal guidance.

Supports both front end (outside of HR) and back end (inside of HR) HRIS users in learning and accessing various self-service tools.
Acts as liaison with managerial and systems analysis personnel in IS to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming involved.
Ensures security of HR information through established security protocol.
Participates in HRIS issue tracking and resolution, oftentimes involving research to resolve complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
Tests and revises existing programs and/or processes to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Compiles documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.
Creates scripted documentation for all work procedures and trains back-end users on appropriate tasks and processes.
Researches new techniques in the development of systems and maintains knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields relating to HRIS.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
