Under minimal supervision and reporting to the Principal Analyst, incumbent is responsible for analytical support, performance improvement, and patient safety-related data/project management of the organization. Conducts complex statistical analysis for nurse managers, physicians, and senior management. Provides primary support for the quality variance reporting system, performing maintenance and generating on-going or ad-hoc reports and detailed analysis. Facilitates PI initiatives with meaningful data and reports. Assists and trains clinical manager and others with understanding and using relevant indicator, data sources and collection, aggregation, analysis and reporting. Develop and disseminate professional reports from a variety of applications to staff, clinicians, committees, physicians and executives. Job standards are to be performed at the EXPERT level.
Graduation from college with a major in business administration, economics, statistics, educational administration, political science, or an allied field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four (4) years analysis experience in a large, complex healthcare environment, preferably in performance improvement, patient safety, or related; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Highly proficient with MS Office: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Epic Clarity certification & experience.
Proficient in SQL reporting, data mining & data source mapping.
Must be willing to work overtime to meet the needs of the department as demands may fluctuate with major projects.
Must also be willing and able to travel between various Medical Center sites for meetings.
