Reporting to the Regional Head of Compliance for Australia and New Zealand, you will lead and manage a team of Compliance professionals aligned to the Wealth Division of our Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS). You will ensure your team provides expert Compliance and risk management support with the objective of assisting the Wealth Division to meet its regulatory and Compliance framework obligations, particularly with respect to Advice, broking and Wealth products and platforms. As the Head of Wealth Compliance, you will promote a culture of Compliance, manage key business and regulatory stakeholder relationships and ensure successful delivery of the Compliance programme across all aspects of our "Advisory, Training and Monitoring" model.
Your ability to provide sound Compliance expertise, proactively identify and control Compliance risks, engage, and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders within BFS to deliver sound risk outcomes is essential. You will have demonstrated retail financial services experience within Compliance, with significant exposure to Wealth Management Compliance and an understanding of the principles underpinning the provision of advice. This is a highly visible role and requires someone with strong stakeholder management, commercial judgement, leadership skills as well as the ability and credibility to continue to build a successful Compliance team.
