Any combination of education and experience equivalent to the following: graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in planning, engineering, architecture, economics, construction science, business or public administration, finance, real estate or related field, plus three years of experience directly related to assigned program area. A master's degree may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
A valid driver's license is required.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, a pre-employment physical examination and a driving record check to the satisfaction of the employer.
- Progressive experience working in residential rehabilitation field preferably using federal funding.
- Experience with Davis Bacon and Section 3 Programs.
- Candidate must be results driven; possess strong organizational skills; be detail oriented; and have the ability to multi-task.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Access is preferred.
Job requires daily walking, standing, bending, stooping, crouching, grasping, reaching, and climbing stairs and ladders. Work outside in all weather conditions and able to lift/carry moderately heavy items; up to 50 pounds unaided. Ability to operate a vehicle. Visual acuity to operate keyboard and be able to clearly communicate with others. Ability to move throughout a construction site to observe work in progress and to conduct site visits not accessible to wheel chairs.
