Serve as a Team Lead Role by providing expertise in customer service, system performance and optimization and OS and application problem solving.
An associate degree in MIS or Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary
One to two years’ experience supporting PC and Macintosh computers is required.
Instill a customer service culture that over delivers
Measure and report metrics including survey, incidents and phone statistics
Have the knowledge of tracking software program Remedy or other ticket tracking software
Good leadership skills to assist team members
Install and configure desktop computer systems running Windows, Macintosh OS and peripherals.
Relocate desktop computers, projectors and other components in labs, classrooms, and faculty/staff offices as requiredPreferred Qualifications
Certifications for support of Windows OS and applications (MCP, MCSE)
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Managed Printing Solutions
Demonstrate conflict management and resolution experience
Install, configure and maintain desktop hardware and operating systems, including installation and verification of peripherals
Self-motivated and the ability to work independently and with other teams and managers as needed
Ability to lift and maneuver 75 pounds.
