We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit. To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a current New York State RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification with the American Heart Association and 2 years of Med/Surg experience. Exceptional new graduates who meet the criteria for the NYULMC Nurse Residency Program and have a strong interest in this specialty will be considered. The Urgent Care Center (UCC) Observation Unit is an integral component of the extended stay portion of the Emergency Department / Urgent Care Center. Care in this unit is protocol driven and focused on observation and diagnostic testing. The care goals are directed at the patient's transition from short stay to wellness. This is a unique opportunity to practice within a dynamic environment that promotes teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
