At this time we are seeking a clinical psychologist (unlicensed or HSPP) to complete comprehensive psychological evaluations. SPS is not a treatment site.
Seeking a psychologist (HSPP or non-licensed), but can consider a Master-level professional if trained in psychometric assessment. This person should be able to effectively use clinical interview, cognitive measures (primarily Wechsler), and personality instruments (primarily MMPI and Millon but also others including Rorschach) to evaluate adolescents and adults; other instruments are also included in batteries, but are quick to learn. We use varied other instruments with young children (including NEPSY-II and ADOS-2) particularly for questions of spectrum, neuropsych, and/or trauma; these evaluations are available, but we are more eagerly seeking someone to test adolescents and adults. Strong writing skills are required in order to write integrated comprehensive reports efficiently. Because we do abundant forensic work, psychologists may be subpoenaed to court, though this risk can be minimized if that is an issue.
Shelbyville is located immediately southeast of Indianapolis, and is easily accessed from Indy via 74. It is also a reasonable driving distance from Johnson, Hancock, and Bartholomew counties.
Additional Salary Information: Paid per evaluation submitted, with rate varied by education and experience.
