About This Role:
The Monmouth Patient Care Technician ensures the care, comfort and satisfaction of our patients and their families and assists in resolving any patient care related issues while working in close collaboration with the entire clinical team and under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse. These duties include ensuring that patients and family members are assisted in a timely, efficient and courteous manner and handling acutely ill patients in stressful situations. Taking vital signs, performing venipuncture, EKGs, basic computer and data entry skills are required. Successful applicants must possess strong patient care skills, communication skills, take an analytical approach to problem solving; enjoy working as part of a team and the ability to exhibit initiative.
Shifts Available: 8 hour flexed schedule ranging between the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Hours may extend to evenings and weekends in the future.
This is a full-time position
Only candidates with the strongest relevant experience will be considered
What You Need:
* Required: High School diploma or equivalency
* Preferred: Some College
* Required: one(1) year of strong patient care experience
* Preferred: two(2) or more years of strong patient care and customer service skills
* Preferred: Certification from an accredited Nursing Assistant or comparable training program
