Bachelor degree or High School diploma with equivalent experience required
Minimum three years of business experience preferred
Strong Excel and Access skills required
Working knowledge of databases required
Experience with data analysis and building and maintaining Access databases preferred
Exposure to project management preferred
Knowledge of mutual fund industry standard processes and systems preferred
Provide day-to-day operational and service support for specialized products (Collective Funds, Private Funds, etc.)
Perform data entry, tracking and monitoring of activity within the products to help ensure compliance with offering documents, agreements and procedures.
Submit required documentation to Portfolio Manager and Compliance, track decisions, communicate outcome.
Demonstrate good customer service skills and ability to interact with intermediary/institutional clients.
Maintain databases to manage and report on data provided by intermediaries for internal and external reporting. Ensure appropriate level of control is created to mitigate risk of providing incorrect data and avoid potential unintended changes to data.
Import data from various external sources into applicable databases. Utilize Excel and other MS products to reconcile data that supports daily processes and reporting.
Analyze and scrub data provided by clients to identify missing data, ineligible plans/accounts, and other inconsistencies in data provided. Perform manual data entry and research as necessary.
Create and manage the project plans and business analysis in support of the service and operational aspects of the products
Compile and produce statistical information and reports for quarterly management meetings and GIC providers.
Periodically perform analysis of databases utilized in order to identify opportunities for greater automation and workflow efficiencies. Make appropriate recommendations to management to mitigate risk in database activity and streamline workflows.
Identify missing or inaccurate data and work with Relationship Managers to obtain correct data.
Provide input or suggest creative solutions for existing reporting processes by recommending enhancements or improvements.
