SUMMARY: Assists Program Development Specialist with supervising the research interviewing activities on grant funded projects including supervising the interview personnel, supporting data collection efforts, coordinating panel retention activities and providing administrative support to department to meet project objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides work direction to research interviewers specifically evenings and/or weekend shift personnel.
Trains interviewers on interviewing methods including skills of probing, refusal conversions and active listening.
Coordinates the work schedules of interviewers to maintain adequate phone coverage.
Assists interviewers in achieving training requirements (HIPAA, CITI, and Compliance) and in the management of their cases and other tasks.
Assists interviewers with troubleshooting computer, phone and software problems that may arise daily and works to resolve them.
Troubleshoots protocol concerns during data collection.
Serves as the lead for conducting monthly team meetings with project interviewers.
Manages Microsoft Access database in order to update contact information, assign cases, input notes and enter status updates.
Assists Program Development Specialist with Microsoft Access reporting and troubleshoots any issues that arise with the software program.
Coordinates and oversees research panel retention activities including the distribution of holiday cards, newsletters, birthday cards, and gifts.
Initiates weekly meetings with interview staff as necessary to monitor project flow, completion rates, and staff productivity.
Understands and adheres to Rowan SOM compliance standards as they appear in the Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate?s Degree in Liberal Arts, Public or Business Administration, the Social Sciences or a related field, plus one (1) year of professional level experience in a business office, government agency, or university setting. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis
