The Department of Athletics is seeking a Head Coach-Women’s Rowing. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, fixed term professional faculty position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Athletic Director.

The Head Coach directs all phases of the Women's Rowing Program. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to: management of academic success, budgeting, recruiting, boat maintenance, equipment ordering, travel planning, teaching/coaching rowing skills, planning and execution of workouts, scheduling opponents, maintaining program integrity with respect to NCAA, PAC-12, OUS, and OSU rules and regulations, and participating in community and sport specific fund-raising efforts and public relations. This position may also be asked to participate in athletic department-wide functions.
Minimum Qualifications (Staff) / Guidelines (Faculty):
Typically Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in field of choice.
Five years of full-time experience as a Head or Assistant Rowing Coach in an NCAA program.
Demonstrated familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations.
This position will often be required to lift/carry/push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 24 months.
This position requires driving a University vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the University; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle History Check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions (as per Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards OAR 125-155-0200) as per OAR 576-056-0000 et seq.
