The Michael G. Foster School of Business has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Coordinator.
Event planning and program support for the MBA Career Management Program in the Michael G. Foster School of Business.
Create, plan, and execute all aspects of event planning for a variety of events in partnership with MBA Career Management staff.
Provide logistical arrangements, secure rooms, order food, and utilize software programs as needed. The programs include and are not limited to: Mentor Program, Evening MBA Program, Corporate Recruiting events as assigned, and company visits. Event preparation entails creating invitations, tracking rsvps, name tags, securing space, contacting participants and speakers. This position works with students, staff, and company representatives.
Provide program and administrative support for the Mentor Program and Evening MBA Program throughout the year. Assist at the front desk reception when needed to answer student and employer questions. This position will assist and collaborate on work projects with the office's Program Coordinators and Senior Associate Directors in the areas of communication, event planning, use and maintenance of software programs, and basic administrative support to insure career program implementation. Support, write, and coordinate communication with internal and external contacts with regard to program and event details/agendas. Create and generate statistical reports on student attendance and other topics at events as needed. Use and oversee the maintenance and annual implementation of files and messaging on Sharepoint, Linkedin, Facebook, and the MBA Career Management webpages including regular updating of these accounts. Serves as the main liaison for communications on the website with the Marketing department.
Social media management and entries into the Facebook and Twitter accounts. Write and compile the MBA student Career Management newsletter. Create student marketing announcements, use graphics software, and write email, social media, and marketing communications, update PPT templates for presentations, as needed. Create resume books and provide administrative support in collaboration with the Career Management administrative staff. Maintain all social media accounts and programs.
