This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/ Centennial Medical Plaza. Under the supervision of radiology leadership, coordinates the daily operation of diagnostic imaging. As a working supervisor, is responsible for maintaining expert technical skills while following ALARA standards. Provides an excellent patient experience with quality diagnostic results. Supervises and trains employees, monitors competency-based performance and attendance of department, and performs annual reviews. Manages schedules and monthly rounding of staff. Collaborates in decision-making structure and processes. Assists leadership in long term planning and all aspects of financial performance. Assist in the implementation and documentation of an effective and continuous program to measure, assess and improve performance. Ensures adequate staff and resources to provide for a safe, high quality operation of the department. Is accessible to staff on all shifts, if need or coverage arise. Collaborates with leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and hospital policies. Manages productivity and operations to achieve budgetary targets. Manages supplies and inventory. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Current ARRT (R) certification required. Current BLS required.
Completion of a Radiologic Technology program required.
2 years of hospital experience preferred.
Degree of supervision required:
Involves general guidance and direction by radiology leadership. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
