Under the direction of the General Manager performs receptionist, pharmacy clerk and administrative duties as assigned for the branch. In addition, the candidate will assist in creating / routing pharmacy orders through receipt, review and verification of members' prescriptions. Preps and scans documents, verifies member data, submits orders in computer system. May contact members to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order. Interprets physicians' prescriptions and creates order, accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription and reimbursement information from computer system as permitted by state regulations.
- Screens and directs all incoming calls
- Serves as front desk coordinator and point person for all visitors
- Routes all incoming and outgoing documents and faxes
- Performs other clerical functions such as photocopying, general filing, scanning, attaching documents to patient records maintenance as needed
- Performs other tasks or duties as requested
