The Product Management Team is responsible for the management of FIL's product ranges at all levels. This function includes the strategic design and maintenance of our range of product offerings, regular representation of the existing funds and their portfolio managers to clients in both written and oral form, and development of tactical marketing strategies that help our sales teams position our funds appropriately. .
Purpose of your role
The purpose of the IMP Co-ordinator is to be the central point of contact and liaison between the UK and European Sales Teams and the Investment Directors and Fund Managers. To take full ownership of the process and organisation of IMP meetings and events and ensure parties have all information required prior to the meeting.
Maintaining and developing the IMP Database (MS Access) - using it in its current form whilst investigating ways to make the end to end process more efficient
Liaising with the business channels and product specialists to book meetings - dealing with the sales team, product management team and PMs/Analysts and their coordinators
Diary management - proactively managing the IMP diary to ensure that all invites are sent out to the relevant people at the right times (being conscious of varying time zones)
Logistics such as room booking, AV/VC, sending reminders - keeping on top of and double checking all logistics for each IMP
Checking that presentation material is prepared - reminding the Equity Communications Team of any upcoming IMP meetings and ensuring that presentations are ready; including helping to put together/format any presentations and binding as necessary
Recording marketing hours - using the IMP system to record hours for everyone and distributing this information as appropriate
Producing management information reporting - using the IMP system to create reports and manipulate data which may be useful to the business.
Providing back up and coverage for the IMP Team Coordinator
Experience and Qualifications Required
Experience of working as a support professional, ideally in a complex, fast moving environment
Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
MS Access desirable
Ability to work with the minimum of supervision
A team player, able to communicate effectively and professionally with people at all levels
Ability to demonstrate initiative and prioritise work appropriately
Ability to quickly pick up knowledge of the business and use this knowledge to make judgements on key issue
Pleasant, professional manner
Good team skills are essential - close liaison with other coordinators across the organisation and within the Product Group
