Demonstrated ability in using API management tools.
Able to formulate and analyse business requirements to design a fit for purpose solution.
Delivers high quality, optimised and well tested code.
Understanding of API security best practices (SSL/TLS, OAuth, SAML, JWT, authentication, authorisation, IP security setup and endpoint configuration).
Know how in API design best practices, exposure to micro services and SOA.
Hands on experience with REST/JSON/SOAP/XML.
Working knowledge of cloud technologies.
Implemented fully automated CI/CD pipelines, from code testing to production releases.
Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills, able to look for the root cause and solve issues quickly.
Able to see the big picture and think outside the box.
Strong knowledge of the Atlassian suite.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
High quality documentation, able to document APIs using Swagger/Open API.
Adaptable and able to learn quickly.
Industry experience in the banking and financial sector.
