The ideal candidate will have proven experience with foster care and adoption as well as solid knowledge of the child welfare field. As a supervisory position, excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills are essential.
CWTI and MiSACWIS training are required to be considered for this position. Additional qualifications include a minimum of 3 years experience in child welfare, plus a working knowledge of licensing, foster care, and adoption laws and policies as prescribed by the state of Michigan.
Master’s degree (LMSW) is highly preferred, Bachelor’s degree with extensive, proven experience may be considered.
