Provide administrative support to the Yale Law School Admissions office. Supporting the Associate Dean, Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions, and the Director of Recruitment. Particular focus on coordinating visiting programs for admitted students, including assisting students with making travel arrangements. The Student Services Coordinator also manages the calendar or recruiting visits for the Admissions Office, interacts with re-law advisors, staff, faculty, and students at other schools and universities regard Yale Law School visits. Other duties include managing multiple calendars and extensive database work including producing a variety of reports from the YLS admissions database.

Required Skill/ability 1: Proven proficiency in an administrative support position. Recent, strong Microsoft Office skills including Access or other database experience. Demonstrated ability extracting data and running reports from databases. Demonstrated ability updating web content. Proven ability with Microsoft Outlook calendar management for multiple people.
Required Skill/ability 2: Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability providing services and information to a variety of people - students, staff, faculty, vendors with patience, maturity, and courtesy. Discretion and good judgment working with confidential information.
Required Skill/ability 3: Demonstrated ability with all aspects of event coordination and oversight.
Required Skill/ability 5: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Bachelor's degree. Experience event planning, catering, travel arrangements and reimbursements at Yale. Experience in a student services role at a university. Experience in an admissions office at a university. Experience building a database.
Required Licenses Or Certifications:
Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
