University Advancement, Information Management department, has an outstanding opportunity for a Database Reporting Analyst .
University Advancement creates engagement opportunities that foster pride, advocacy and private support for the University of Washington. The Advancement Information Management department provides the technical infrastructure that supports this mission. The Database Reporting Analyst develops custom and ad hoc database reporting solutions. This position receives, evaluates, and prioritizes report and list segmentation requests from a wide variety of internal clients, but also distributes and tracks work for other Reporting Team colleagues as appropriate.
Information and reporting is critical to all aspects of supporting the fundraising efforts of the University. The Database Reporting Analyst is responsible for evaluating the complex reporting needs of University Advancement and the UW and for developing effective and efficient means for the dissemination of information to a variety of clients. To support these efforts, UW Advancement maintains a database of over one million donor, prospect, alumni, volunteer, faculty, staff, parent, and student records, many with individually-defined communication preferences. The Database Reporting Analyst must have a clear understanding of all reporting requirements and regulations in order to evaluate requests against those standards and determine how the information should be reported.
