The position is available for either 9 month or 12 month appointment, and at all levels of seniority. Washington University is a highly ranked private university with approximately 7,000 undergraduates. Our department currently has 31 faculty, 6 of whom are Lecturers. Like our peers, we are experiencing unprecedented excitement and interest in the study of computer science and computer engineering. There are 369 majors in our computer science and computer engineering programs, 123 students who study computer science as a second major, and 190 students earning a minor in computer science. Our students are bright, industrious, and passionate about their computer science studies. They compete nationally in a variety of programming contests and are sought by top companies and graduate schools upon graduation.
This position is full-time and works approximately 37.5 hours per week.

This position is in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. This position is for the Danforth Campus in the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field.
Lecturers are encouraged to participate and publish in educational venues where they can share their experiences, learn of new pedagogical methods, and bring new ideas and techniques into our classrooms.
The hiring range for this position is commensurate with experience.
