The Leonard Davis School of Gerontology is searching for an Administrative Assistant to support the Vice Dean, Assistant Dean for Research and the Assistant Dean of Faculty and Academic Affairs with grant administration and other administrative tasks. This position will have a major role in maintaining grants and contracts including; financial monitoring and reporting, writing grant narratives and working with the USC Contracts and Grants Office for grant preparation and submission.
The successful candidate must have experience working in an academic environment with grants management and submission. Excellent computer skills, specifically with MS Office: excel, word and access. The candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, comfortable interacting and communicating effectively with all levels of staff and faculty.
Minimum Education: Associate's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 2 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Secretarial or specialized clerical, including some administrative experience.
