This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time Analyst Programmer, competency level 2 (Web Developer) position for the Extension and Experiment Station Communications (EESC) unit at Oregon State University.
EESC supports the strategic communication needs of the statewide OSU Extension Service and the Oregon Agricultural Experiment Station (AES). EESC collaborates with Extension and AES faculty and staff on projects that range from multimedia educational design and publishing to technology adoption, news and media relations, impact reporting, marketing, and accountability efforts.
The Web Developer's role is to collaboratively design, develop, test, and maintain web and content management systems that increase the public's access to and engagement with educational resources and information from the OSU Extension Service and AES. This position is part of EESC's Web and Content Strategy team.

Minimum Qualifications (Staff) / Guidelines (Faculty):
This classification requires a basic foundation of knowledge and skills in systems analysis and related programming support functions generally obtained by a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or an equivalent amount of training and applied experience.
One or more years of experience developing websites using a content management system (such as Drupal).
Demonstrated understanding of web development best practices, including coding standards, accessibility and usability.
Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 24 months.
Typical office environment; 8-5, M-F.
