The Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks related to reconciliation of A/R sub-ledger cash applications and maintaining data integrity of files and databases and recording financial activity related to non-A/R sub-ledger financial transactions.
â?¢ Supporting other Cash Team members in Onbase research and issue resolution
â?¢ Function as Business Architect in the submission of tickets related to Onbase table and logic maintenance
â?¢ Develop, implement and maintain various Excel and Access tools to coordinate efforts between RSC and Hospital Accounting staff to identify, track and record transactions for non-patient and Pharmacy cash in Lawson.
â?¢ Analyze historical and current transactions for duplicative or incorrect general ledger activity and compiling support for and preparing journal entries.
â?¢ Review of journal entries prepared by others to ensure accuracy.
â?¢ Make recommendations for enhancements and changes to current processes to reduce errors and increase efficiency in current state manual processes.
â?¢ Perform ad hoc research requests, documentation, and journal entries as requested by Manager or Director
â?¢ BS in Accounting or related field, preferred
â?¢ Minimum of six years of accounting experience, required
â?¢ Complex reconciliation experience required
â?¢ Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
â?¢ Intermediate to advanced Access skills required
â?¢ Blackline experience desired
â?¢ Experience establishing accounting workflows, processes and procedures and designing supporting Excel and Access tools required
â?¢ Experience understanding, managing and maintaining large complex data sets required
â?¢ Computer skills, required
â?¢ Analytical and deductive reasoning skills, required
â?¢ Strong written and verbal communication skills required
â?¢ Detail oriented
