Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or related design/construction discipline and five (5) years' experience in security systems program administration/management OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Experience with IP Video, access control, intrusion/duress systems, identity credentialing and smart card technologies
- Experience managing projects
- Experience with site inspection processes, customer roles and responsibilities, project permitting, inspection and planning assessments including blueprints or design diagrams
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Experience coordinating /managing a campus security program
- Experience conducting site and blueprint inspections, assessments, and audits
- Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with senior management
- Evidence of a Lenel certification /experience desired
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse (75%); required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work (15%) Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds (10%) Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions Activities include driving, walking the campus and wearing a hard hat as needed. May be required to be outside during installations and/or inspections. This position will require driving a golf cart and vehicle.
