The Division of Surgical Oncology is currently seeking a Research Assistant. The research primarily focuses on clinical research in surgical education, robotic surgery, pancreas cancer, hepatobiliary surgery, and other related GI oncologic or surgical issues. Job duties would be primarily working with existing excel and access databases, creating excel projects, maintaining clinical databases, working on scheduling for surgical testing, chart review, and data analysis. The successful candidate should have exceptional organizational skills, exhibit strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and other computer skills, and have basic video editing skills. We are interested in a self-motivated problem solver interested in clinical research study design, data acquisition, data analysis, hypothesis testing, abstract writing and review, and manuscript preparation. Experience Essential to the position: iMac, adobe premiere pro, Microsoft office. iMovie, final cut pro and video editing experience helpful. Basic statistics knowledge required.
