Focusing on evidence-based and innovative strategies, the Wellness Education and Training Specialist will work collaboratively to maintain and institutionalize population based behavioral education initiatives for students. The Wellness and Education and Training Specialist will work in close collaboration with the Title IX Compliance and Education Specialist, who is a member of the Department of Human Resources to support the University's compliance with various violence prevention programs. The coordinator will also work with various Student Affairs units and other divisions that share the responsibility to address the intersections of various behavioral health concerns (i.e. problematic drinking, gender relations, and healthy masculinities).
This position provides support and guidance to the University's goal of creating a community of diversity and inclusive excellence and working to ensure the wellbeing of our community. This position receives receives direct supervision from, and reports to the Director of the Women's Center
