The role is within the COO/BTSG organization and will be responsible for establishing and leading the QC function.
QC (Quality Control) Framework Implementation for Equity Technology
Develop QC plan by Line of Business tailored for each product area
Write up of QC report, presenting to management and development team.
Identification and analysis of Code of Conduct for different regulators in the region
Gap analysis of Code of Conduct for major markets in APAC
In the event of non-compliance devise plans to take prompt action and effective remedial actions.
Thematic Analysis of Audit Issues / Regulatory Issues / Technology Incident root causes and conducting a broader impact analysis of this
Keep abreast of changes in regulation in APAC and identifying Technology impact
Sustainability check on all previously closed Audit Issues / SIAIs / Regulatory Issues
Integrate QC into regional and global QC program
Analysis of previous Audits & Regulatory Exams to ascertain impact / sustainability
Maintain QC metrics to assess performance
Involvement in compliance, audit driven assessments with internal/external parties.
Knowledge & Experience:-
At least 5-7 years' experience in conducting IT & Financial Market reviews
Strong knowledge and understanding of equity markets
Experience of risk and controls
Experience in a front office financial markets environment.
Experience interacting with internal/external stakeholders at all leaves including senior/executive management
Experience with auditors and regulating bodies.
