UCSF FRESNO HOSPICE & PALLIATIVE MEDICINE FELLOWSHIP DIRECTOR
The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) are seeking a Program Director for our Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. The program director, together with the Division Chief, will be responsible for the administration and oversight of the training program. Our fellowship is affiliated with an inpatient consult service at a thriving regional hospital. Outpatient clinic facilities are located on the hospital and university campus. The fellowship is sponsored through the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Successful candidates must be board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and experience as an academic faculty is preferred. Applicants must have a California medical license or be eligible to obtain a California license. Previous leadership experience in a graduate medical education program is preferred. Must have the basic qualifications at the time of hire. This position provides opportunities for teaching, clinical research and community practice in Hospice and Palliative Care medicine. Experience in palliative inpatient and outpatient care settings is preferred. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
