DUTIES:Compose a variety of business correspondence on general and technical matters in accordance with established guidelines. Where appropriate, prepare reports, confidential documents, forms and related materials.Screen and prioritize incoming calls in order to determine what contact or action is required for satisfactory disposition.Coordinate department public relations functions as assigned, such as regularly prioritize and arrange conferences, meetings, seminars, etc. under the general instructions of supervisor. Maintain calendar for Assistant Vice President.Coordinate and perform a range of staff and/or operational support activities for the unit as assigned; research and gather data for departmental reports, maintain unit or departmental database and related records.Sort, screen, review and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and ensure timely responses to a variety of written inquiries.Prepare travel and purchase requisitions for the department and periodically follow-up on requisitions and reimbursement requests.Maintain department budget database files and assist in the preparation of budget requests.Data input on affiliation agreements as required.On-going file review, purging and archiving for the department.(DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION)QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; Knowledge of Budget Administration, Excellent communication skills; Ability to work within rigid timelines.PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory/administrative capacity.Additional Info: * Represents Location Pay for full-time appointees.
