HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Fayetteville, a Partner of Washington Regional is an 80-bed freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient services designed to return patients to active and independent lives.
We are looking for a full time PM&R Inpatient Physician interested in building a practice and growing with the Northwest Arkansas community. The city of Fayetteville is the home of the University of Arkansas and has a wonderful combination of beautiful sunshine, affordable real estate, and low cost of living. Our hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled, independent private practice physicians and HealthSouth therapists and nurses, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care. Designed with our patients’ care in mind, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Fayetteville offers individual bedside flat screen TV’s, telephone and Wi-Fi.
PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients and an outpatient rehabilitation practice if he or she chooses. The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections. HealthSouth hospitals are extremely busy with high patient volumes – HealthSouth has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas.
MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
