The Intercollegiate Athletics Department at the University of Washington has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Coach, Women's Gymnastics. This position reports to the head women's gymnastics coach and will assist with all aspects of developing a successful Division 1 women's gymnastics program.
Assist with developing daily, weekly and annual plans for the betterment of the program and development of student athletes. Will be responsible for coaching multiple events with great technical knowledge. Will travel to all competitions and attend all practices.
Assist with the recruitment of athletes both on and off campus; this includes organizing and hosting unofficial visits and traveling around the country, recruiting athletes and promoting the program.
Assist in all administrative duties in the organization and running of the program. Assist with speaking engagements, clinics, and serving on committees to help promote the Gymnastics Program.
Perform related duties as required.
Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Pac-12 Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations. As a condition of employment, the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Bachelor's degree and experience coaching collegiate and/or elite level gymnasts.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except where there are legal requirements such as license/certification/registration.
Working knowledge of NCAA and the Federation of International Gymnastics (FIG) desired. Aptitude in spotting and strong knowledge in equipment upkeep and maintenance desired.
