The Milken Institute School of Public Health (SPH) at the George Washington University invites applications for the position of Senior Associate Dean for Academic, Student and Faculty Affairs.
The distinguished candidate who fills this position will provide leadership and vision for the school’s educational mission as the SPH continues to solidify its reputation for excellence in innovative and integrative public health curricula.
Applicants must have an earned relevant doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, ScD, DrPH or MD) and must have experience commensurate with appointment at the rank of Professor with tenure or be tenure eligible in one of the School's six departments. Additional requirements for this position include a documented commitment to excellence in public health education, a clear understanding of issues related to student wellness, student and faculty diversity and inclusion, and a willingness to lead innovative educational programs and foster development of new teaching initiatives. The successful candidate must have strong leadership and administrative skills and the ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams.
