The Associate Director of Student Support and Admissions will be responsible for providing support to admissions, recruitment and student support services at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (VMCVM).
Required Qualifications: D.V.M. degree or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak clearly and persuasively, and excellent listening skills
Ability to work independently and must be self-motivated in completing tasks
Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and database entry
Ability to plan workload yet remain flexible; strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Must have a caring attitude and a very high level of customer service; energetic, enthusiastic and committed to the role and to the college
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in veterinary practice or environment
Previous experience in academia
Previous experience interacting and working with students
Previous experience working in the area of admissions and/or student affairs
