Spokane Treatment and Recovery Services’ (STARS) mission is to provide wrap around services, focusing on sobriety, withdrawal management, co-occurring treatment, assessment and referral to appropriate levels of care for substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders.
The Executive Director provides leadership and management for all programs and services within the organization including; withdrawal management, sobering services, co-occurring intensive outpatient, adolescent case management and men and women co-occurring programs. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a process that promotes the delivery of high quality, culturally competent treatment services, responds to the needs of constituents and consumers, provides high quality of work life for employees, and carefully handles financial resources.
The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree in social sciences, public administration, management, or related fields with at least five years of management experience in a chemical dependency and treatment facility. Experience in dealing with the unique issues related to adolescent development and family dynamics is strongly preferred, along with familiarity with BHO and Spokane County’s system of care. WA State CDP credentials preferred. Highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
