Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut—a member of Trinity Health New England, the nation’s second-largest nonprofit health system—is seeking an Internal Medicine physician highly experienced in ACGME standards to become its Internal Medicine Residency Program Director. Our residency program is directly affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine.
This is a full-time opportunity to demonstrate strong academic and leadership skills as you plan, administer and evaluate residency educational initiatives within our well-established program. Responsibilities will include program administration, resident supervision and teaching, and clinical practice. You will report to the Chair of Medicine.
As director, you will enjoy appointment to the faculties of Yale and Quinnipiac University Medical Schools. You will also enjoy the distinction of working with one of Connecticut’s leading hospitals—Saint Mary’s is in the top 10 percent of hospitals in the country according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Core Measures.
In addition to board certification in internal medicine, you will need to have demonstrated vision and innovation over a minimum of three years of graduate medical education administration experience.
