The Licensed Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervising a unit of Licensed Practitioners and Master’s Level Practitioners. Supervisors may also be responsible for maintaining a billable caseload, conducting intakes or providing Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessments, based on agency need and administrative workload.
A (LCSW) Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LMHC) Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or (LMFT) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Supervisors are in leadership positions that require knowledge of company goals and policies in order to ensure adherence to those goals and policies by staff. They must also strive to maintain optimal relationships within the unit, and establish a workable system of vertical communication in order to permit the exchange of ideas and information with all elements of the company.
