Physician Assistant – Breast Oncology Surgery
We are currently seeking a surgical Physician Assistant to join our Josie Robertson Surgery Center (JRSC) team and work in our ambulatory and multispecialty surgical center. This Breast specialty focused Physician Assistant will provide highly skilled surgical expertise and assistance to MSKCC’s world renowned surgeons. This Physician Assistant would also be trained to provide cross coverage as needed to other surgical services at JRSC.
First and Second OR Assist
Collaborate with members of our multidisciplinary team
Participate in process improvement/efficiency initiatives
Capable of anticipating and balancing the needs to multiple stakeholders
Resourceful, securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently
An effective communicator
Openly relatable and comfortable with diverse groups of people
Adaptable in approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
Qualifications needed are:
Graduate from an accredited PA program
Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
A minimum of 2 years of related experience in Breast surgery or surgical oncology strongly preferred
New graduates are welcome to apply
Hours: Full-time 10 hour days/ Flexed Monday – Friday
