FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTThe Fashion Design Program at Kingsborough Community College is seeking a Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in fashion including fashion illustration, flat sketching, portfolio building, digital design including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, fabric and mood and fabric board development, Fashion Sketching and Fashion Draping, including basic figure and clothing sketching for fashion, technical flat sketching, portfolio presentation. Performs teaching and related faculty functions in area(s) of expertise.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and how they are used in the fashion industry is required. Overall understanding of garment construction is required.
