Cornell Health is seeking a full-time, 11 months per year, Physical Therapist Assistant. Responsible to Physical Therapy Supervisor for carrying out follow-up treatments after patients are evaluated by a physical therapist. Keep appropriate records in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Participate in in-service programs as appropriate.
Cornell Health employees are required to report misses and near misses immediately to supervisor and via occurrence report.
This position is OSHA category BBP1; TB2; ERG1.
Associate degree in Physical Therapy from accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current NYS licensure and registration.
At least 2-3 years of current experience in outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine.
CPR-BLS level certification required.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Record

3-5 years of current experience in outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine
Member of APTA professional organization.
