Monitor and interpret state and federal statutes and regulations that impact the hospice and palliative care industry.
Research and respond to questions posed by Hospice Provider Members regarding quality, compliance, reimbursement and other topics.
Maintain relationships with state regulatory agencies that have jurisdiction over hospice and palliative care providers.
Monitor proposed changes to regulations and reimbursement and provide members timely information related to proposed industry changes.
Transform regulatory information into ready-to-use tools for TCC members.
Be actively involved in the Palmetto GBA Hospice Coalition meetings to address issues related to Medicare reimbursement.
Represent TCC at state government meetings in both states, as directed.
Maintain relationships with key partners at other professional and trade associations.
Represent TCC on committees and groups through state and national organizations.
In collaboration with other staff, assist the Education Coordinator in planning for TCC’s educational activities.
Facilitate assigned Member Interest Groups to ensure ongoing activity, work in support of other MIGs as assigned, including providing regulatory updates as requested.
Develop and present educational offerings on quality and regulatory topics.

Provide content for TCC online sites and publications, including newsletters, research reports and best practice documents.
Provide superior customer service to members and other stakeholders.
Be proficient with standard software packages including MS Office.
Work on other projects as assigned by the President and CEO or his/her designee.
Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, nursing, social work, management or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of five years’ experience and demonstrated expertise working in hospice in a regulatory or quality role. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with appreciation for applying technical information to real-world practice. Solid organizational skills with the ability to work on many projects at one time. Ability to work independently. Ability to travel, at times using own vehicle.
