Ten-month position (August – June) to provide leadership in coordinating a comprehensive system of programming, relationship-building, research, database development, advising, and instruction that compliments the currciulum of the Roy H. Park School of Communications to help students identify and successfully achieve their post-graduation professional and continuing education goals. Participate as part of a team that provides advising, instruction, peer mentoring, tutoring, and programming to first-year students to help them develop college success strategies. Manage credit-based internship programs and supervise local internships during the academic year. Conduct and disseminate research on job market trends and practices within the communications field, serve as a liaison for alumni and prospective employers, and track employment of alumni. Coordinate workshops, guest lectures, networking, and other individual or group activities that assist students in developing career awareness and skills. Serve as the Park School liaison with the Office of Career Services and other professionals on campus who provide career development services to promote and list internship and job opportunities and college-wide career services.
