General Description Department: Epidemiology
Monday- Friday 37.5 hrs
This position will be responsible for overseeing the collection, organization, maintenance and reporting of research data.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Handle planning and logistics for the annual Fall study meeting including contracts, reservations, agenda. Coordinate the bi-annual study report (logistics, merging, formatting, printing and distribution). Update and maintain an archive of submitted study concepts, assigned investigators, Working Group reviews, publications and conference abstracts in Microsoft Access; includes posting to Forum, notifying Working Groups of needed reviews and sending reminders to EC & WG of Concepts status. Update and maintain an archive of study publications, and coordinate with internal and external investigators to get copies of all submitted papers and abstracts for posting to the Forum. PubMed searches for published papers and update reference database. Maintain and update the study online forums and study website with currently approved forms and update links to correct forms, update study forms and templates as needed. Maintain files related to the study including files for grants, concepts, publications, and correspondence. Maintain IRB and regulatory compliance, assist with IRB changes in research, track human subject certification. Assist with updating and collecting biosketches, other support, creating grant reporting forms, and other NIH-related study requests. Use software applications such as spreadsheets, word, reference database (RefMan/Endnote), Paradox and Power Point. Set up and coordinate meetings and conferences, schedule weekly study meetings. Order and distribute study supplies, track office keys, organize and submit reimbursements and invoices for processing. Triage questions about the study from internal and external personnel and investigators. Oversee updates to CAMACS' Manual of Operations, MACS Directory (including updates to online Directory); request updates from Centers periodically; send NIH notification of WG changes and updates. Provide other duties as assigned and required.
