Ponaman Healthcare Consulting is seeking a well-spoken consultant to join our growing organization located in Phoenix, AZ. This position will manage mid-size consulting engagements and moderately complex projects. Additionally, this position may be assigned full responsibility to propose, oversee, and follow up as project manager on large-scale client initiatives. The position includes ongoing research, analysis and interpretation of data, preparation of reports to effectively deliver information, and ongoing assistance with key initiatives aimed at improved outcomes and achievements. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and have the ability to demonstrate project management skills and communicate complex analyses to a non-technical audience. Applicant must be willing to travel to clients located across the continental U.S. and Hawaii. Applicant must be willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ.
Provide onsite assistance with 340B Program assessments, audits, and program implementation
Provide client support for HRSA 340B audits
Provide project management for implementation of split-billing software and 340B Drug Pricing Program development
Assist with pharmacy program benchmarking activities
Provide extensive assistance in the development of client deliverables, including reports, presentations, white papers, and briefings
Collaboration with vendors and clients, coordination of conference calls and meeting
Lead team to achieve project deliverables and goals
Research pharmacy marketplace topics/issues, compile information, and write technical communications
Ensures that all assigned tasks are completed on time and meet standards of quality
Desired Skills and Experience
Significant hands-on experience conducting and leading analytic engagements, data analysis, data management and preparation
Familiarity with health information systems (e.g., electronic medical records, pharmacy systems, health care management systems)
Experience working with 340B covered entities, safety net providers or other health care stakeholders
2+ years of consulting and/or analytical experience preferably in health care services; Master's degree in lieu of 2 years of work experience
Experience in a pharmacy setting performing pharmacy technician duties a plus
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Health Care Administration, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, Business Administration, Pharmacy Technology, Information Technology, Economics or other related field
Master's degree in a health sector-related concentration, preferred
5 – 7 years of healthcare related experience may substitute for education
Must exhibit strong verbal and written communication with an ability to interact with all levels of the organization (externally and internally) with confidence and professionalism
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team, providing and receiving guidance and support
Verified ability to work both collaboratively and independently to meet established deadlines
Must be able to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in a demanding, and evolving, work environment
Vigilant with attention to detail and accuracy
Intellectual curiosity and desire to add value to an organization
Solid research skills, and well-honed analytical skills
Quick learner and self-starter; high sense of urgency
Knowledge of MS Office Tools. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Access
