High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited health care program such as Nursing, EMT, paramedic.
Venipuncture experience is required.
Experience in patient assessment and monitoring during surgical procedures.
Clinical experience within an Oral Maxillofacial surgical office/hospital setting preferred.
Experience working with electronic medical records.
Knowledge of and experience with medical and dental coding and terminology.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience working in a diverse community.
Demonstrated problem solving & excellent communication skills.
Ability to maintain composure and work well and decisively in a demanding healthcare environment.
Must be competent using a PC.
Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds.)
Must be able to move freely throughout the clinic.
Must have the manual dexterity necessary to initiate IV’s
Standard out patient oral and maxillofacial surgical setting.
AHA ACLS Certified
Salary/Pay Information: $16.37 per hour minimum, commensurate with experience
40 hours per week with a varied schedule between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm.
