The Ohio University Department of Management in the College of Business invites applications for a benefits eligible, non-tenure track faculty member to teach within the Department of Management beginning in August 2017. We are looking for student-centered, experienced managers or faculty who would be able to teach management within our integrated business cluster program and introductory business administration or other management related classes. The primary teaching will be done in a MGT 2100 Introduction to Management & Organizations course offered as part of a 12-credit hour, problem-based, team taught integrated cluster which includes faculty from Management, Marketing, Management Information Systems, and Professional Communications. Additional teaching will be in our BA 1100 Introduction to Business Administration class, a required survey of business offered to freshman and transfer students in large sections, or other management related courses based on the successful candidate's background. Course development has been done in both MGT 2100 and BA 1100 and the new faculty member will be expected to follow the format for delivery of those courses with guidance from experienced instructors.
Ohio University's College of Business is accredited by the AACSB. We offer a BBA with a range of majors, all of whom must complete both the BA 1100 and the Integrated Business Cluster. The Management Department has three affiliated Centers: the Center for Entrepreneurship; the Center for International Business Education & Development; and the Walter Center for Strategic Leadership. Non-tenure track faculty have a teaching load of 7 courses per year, with typical section sizes of 40, though BA 1100 is typically done in sections of 100 to 150. Salaries for the appointment are competitive based on AACSB statistics and the candidate's credentials.

Candidates must possess a masters (MBA) or equivalent degree in a business discipline from an AACSB or equivalent accredited institution and a successful record of management, executive, or faculty experience.
For candidates without prior faculty experience, at least a minimum of five years of business experience preferred.
