About Virginia Tech:
Virginia Tech is a public land-grant university, committed to teaching and learning, research, and outreach to the Commonwealth of Virginia, the nation, and the world. Building on its motto of Ut Prosim (that I may serve), Virginia Tech is dedicated to InclusiveVT—serving in the spirit of community, diversity, and excellence. We seek candidates who adopt and practice the Principles of Community, which are fundamental to our on-going efforts to increase access and inclusion, and to create a community that nurtures learning and growth for all of its members. Virginia Tech actively seeks a broad spectrum of candidates to join our community in preparing leaders for the world.
The Production Coordinator provides project and logistical support to the Creative Studio. The Coordinator is at the heart of the studio's creative activities, keeping the teams' projects moving forward, particularly photography and video projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to problem-solve, both individually and as part of a project team, work independently with minimal guidance, and be a motivated self-starter.
The Creative Studio, composed of the Design and Digital Strategy team (graphic designers and web developers) and the Content Strategy team (editors, photographers, and video producers), is situated in University Relations within the Advancement division. The studio's efforts are strategically aligned to support university-level priorities. The Production Coordinator reports to the Creative Project Manager.
