Position Description Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Equity Client Services support, the Operations Analyst will be responsible for cash equity business for both institutional and Prime Brokerage clients primarily located in the Asia Pacific region.
Provide quality post execution support to Institutional & Prime Brokerage clients, from trade settlement, fail management and all other ad hoc query
Analyze client metrics, identify issues and process inefficiencies
Work closely with Client Relationship Manager/ Client Service Representatives to resolve client issues
Build good rapport and relationship with Priority clients and maintain regular dialogue to make sure everything is in good order
Co-ordinate with internal and external parties to ensure all queries and issues are resolved
At least 2 year's industry experience gained while working in a brokerage firm or investment bank is preferable but not essential for this position.
The successful candidate will ideally have settlements experience in cash equity products.
Candidates must be analytical in nature, possesses high risk awareness and strong problem solving and communication skills, creative, show initiative and have a mature approach to business.
Proficient in Microsoft Applications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organization skills and ability to prioritize workload
Public holiday coverage and extend working hours may be required
