The Associate Director of Student Involvement works cooperatively with the entire Student Involvement staff to coordinate, support and evaluate a comprehensive co-curricular program.The associate director is responsible for creating, leading, and managing leadership initiatives that support the development and preparation of all students. These programs should align with the College mission and reflect best practices amongst institutions of higher education.
This position co-advises all branches of the Student Government Association (executive, legislative, and judicial) and participates in the shared governance model between students and administrators. This position creates and implements a comprehensive leadership development program which includes the Aptissimi Leadership Conference, the Incendia Leadership Certificate program and student leader training. The position works collaboratively with the assistant dean and senior associate director to create strategy and provide leadership to the office in areas including diversity and inclusion, assessment, marketing and outreach, budgets, and best practices.
This is a live on campus position. 40 hours/12 months. Late night and weekend work is required while students are on campus.
