Uses fundamental engineering concepts, practices, and procedures to analyze operational data/methods, identify performance improvement opportunities, and/or implement technology systems that meet business objectives. Researches, designs, develops, deploys, and/or supports new and current technology solutions. Participates on cross-functional project teams responsible for implementing or enhancing technology.
1.Participates on cross functional company project teams responsible for implementing technology.
2.Works across engineering teams to lead, define, and manage requirements (system, element, segment, subsystem, and interface level); Performs requirements development, analysis, allocation, review, tracing, and validation.
3.Supports all company technology standards to ensure reliable operations.
4.Investigates anomalies/outages and determines steps to reproduce, root cause, and solutions options.
5.Applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to design products and systems.
6.Leads and supports the development, documentation and maintenance/management of product concepts and use cases.
7.Identifies and interacts with suppliers and/or technologies that meet company needs and standards.
8.Researches new technologies and/or monitors and evaluates existing technology for improvement opportunities to support technology life cycle.
9.Researches, analyzes, and effectively consolidates technical or engineering related information and present for management review.
10.Monitors environment performance and provides all necessary reporting analysis.
11.Prepares accurate statements of work and financial justification analysis.
12.Applies project management fundamentals and concepts.
13.Contributes to the completion of project/program milestones.
14.Leads and contributes to project design and test reviews.
15.Attends relevant conference/seminars to remain current on new and upcoming technology.
16.Under general supervision.
1.Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical or quantitative degree (e.g. mathematics) required combined with at least 5-10 years of experience in applicable technical area.
2.Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
3.Verbal, written and presentation communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management and cross functional teams.
4.Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
5.Experience in requirements development, analysis, allocation, review, tracing, and validation.
6.Experience in product concept development, requirements management, functional analysis, interface definition and control, synthesis, verification and validation.
7.Demonstrated system engineering/analytical/problem solving skills.
8.Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
9.Demonstrated experience generating technical documentation such as specifications, engineering reports, test plans and procedures, validation plans, and validation reports.

Incumbent is required to have:
Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm's reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
